POSTER SESSIONS

A specific slot will be provided within the program for poster sessions. We have invited clinicians and researchers to submit proposals that address development of intervention methods of aphasia, aphasia rehabilitation trials, best practice in aphasia etc.

Instructions for poster presenters

The posters will be available for viewing throughout the poster sessions Thursday and Friday afternoon (see the program for details). The poster stands accommodate posters that are max. 114 cm (height) x 98 cm (width), vertically oriented (portrait format). Devices for fixating the posters will be provided. The presenters are expected to be present at their poster for discussion during the poster session.

We hope that presenters strive for visibility and legibility in their posters. Posters with images (drawings, graphs, charts, photos) and text are generally better received by an audience than presentations that consist primarily of printed text. We recommend a handout, either a reproduction of the poster or a text summary.

Conference venue

The conference will take place in the Conference Center of the Hotel Hilton Helsinki Kalastajatorppa, Kalastajatorpantie 1, 00330 Helsinki. For information about travelling to the conference venue from the airport or harbour or city center, see www.kalastajatorppa.hilton.com

The Conference Center offers facilities for the meeting itself (Siirtomaasali I), and for lunch buffet and conference dinner (Round Hall), as well as for the get-together party (Vanha Torppa).
